Visual3D.NET v0.9.1 (Beta 3.1) has now officially been released!

This release brings many fixes from the Beta 3.0 release and some additional advances towards a more complete toolset.

Realmware is pleased to announce that Visual3D.NET Beta 3.0 is targeted for release on November 1st 3rd, 2008, and will become freely available for download and trial. You can view the planned enhancements in our updated Roadmap. On this forum thread, we'll be releasing screen shots, videos, and status updates between now and the actual release of the Beta 3.0. NOTE: This date has been changed from the initial target of October 14th, to provide some emergency attention towards our two leading clients, who are currently funding the development of Visual3D.NET. We are grateful for and dependent upon their continued business. We apologize for this slip to the Beta 3.0 schedule.

We will be performing site maintenance tonight at 12 AM EST (-5 GMT). During this time, login services will be temporarily unavailable as well as the community site. The Wiki and Forums will still be accessible though login for both of these will be unavailable until the maintenance is completed.

Maintenance is expected to last no longer than 1 hour.

UPDATE: Maintenance has completed.

About 15 hours ago we started having problems with all recent people that registered not receiving their confirmation e-mails upon registering. If anyone has had this trouble after registering and have been unable to access your account to please try re-creating your account as we have removed all accounts in the last 24 hours that have not been able to log in successfully.

Because of this issue we have also temporarily lifted the e-mail confirmation following account registration and will be restored once e-mail services return. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience and hope to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.

UPDATE: We have re-enabled registration e-mail confirmation and will continue to monitor for any recurring issues.

UPDATE: Seems it may have been a bit premature, e-mails are now going out but e-mails attempted between 6 - 20 hours ago have failed. If you did not receive a confirmation e-mail, please try the password reset feature next to the login box on the left. If that doesn't work, please send an e-mail to webmaster@visual3d.net for further assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience.
